Temasek looks to expand India footprint
NEW DELHI: Temasek, a global investment company, on Tuesday said its cumulative India exposure was at $50 billion and they look forward to expanding their footprint in the country in the next few years as a "win win opportunity" for both.
The company chairman Teo Chee Hean, who met finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, informed her about the firm's plan to focus on sectors such as financial services, consumer markets, healthcare innovation, technology, manufacturing and renewable energy among others.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed potential investment opportunities across various sectors and across the "length and breadth of the country," according to a post by the finance ministry on microblogging site X.
