4 killed as speeding car hits pedestrians and crashes into truck in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram
VIZIANAGARAM: Four persons, including two pedestrians, were killed and one person suffered injuries when a speeding car struck pedestrians and crashed into a stationary truck near Perapuram in Pusapatirega mandal of Vizianagaram district on Monday night.
Police said the fatal road crash occurred when the driver lost control of the car due to over-speeding. Two pedestrians and one passenger in the car were killed on the spot. Another person in the car suffered severe injuries and died while he was shifting to hospital.

A preliminary investigation revealed that four friends were travelling in the car from Srikakulam to Vizag. Police said one of the deceased was identified as Srinivas, and the investigation was on to establish the identity of the remaining victims.
