Aldi has issued a statement on his famous middle aisle, confirming customers will face changes to the regular Specialbuy schedule over the next couple of weeks. The middle aisle at the German discount supermarket chain has grown to become the favourite part of Aldi stores for many Brits.

Home to useful, and sometimes bizarre, finds at a bargain price, the Specialbuy section changes its offering every single week on Thusdays and Sundays.

However, due to bank holidays and planned store closures, the Specialbuy's schedule of the next few days will be disrupted.

As this coming Thursday is Christmas Day, an Aldi spokesperson said there will be no festive drop before the weekend.

They said: "The next Specialbuy release is scheduled for Sunday, December 28, so we'll see new stock landing after the Christmas period."

Similarly, as New Year's Day falls on a Thursday, the first Specialbuy release of 2026 will be postponed.

However, Aldi shoppers will see two releases next week, one on Friday, January 2, and another on January 4.

The next Specialbuy will see the Aldi middle aisles filling up with products helping Brits keeping their homes fresh and clean.

Among the offerings is a three-tier airer, laundry accessories and a spray mop. Several candles will also be up for grabs for those venturing into the middle aisle.

Aldi shoppers are warned the supermarket chain will close its stores on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Shutters will remain down also on New Year's Day.
