'Beautiful' designer watches slashed by up to £150 in half price sale
Whether you're thinking ahead to Valentine's Day, have a loved one's birthday coming up, or just want to treat yourself to a new timepiece for 2026, I've spotted an up to half-price sale at Beaverbrooks that includes some designer brands for a cut of the price. And when it comes to designer names that are recognisable and synonymous with British fashion and culture, Vivienne Westwood is up there.
The iconic British brand has a legacy spanning nearly half a century. And while the label is widely known for its eccentric designs, it also offers a wide range of super wearable accessories, including watches, that are sure to please any fashion enthusiast.
Three watches in particular caught my eye in the sale. The Fenchurch watch is probably the most versatile, with a classic round dial and a stainless steel bracelet that closes with a butterfly clasp. The 28mm orange dial is marked with the brand's iconic orb and has stainless steel hands and hour markers. It also has a date window, and the brand claims the watch is water-resistant up to 50 metres. The specific colourway has been slashed by 50%, bringing the price down from £250 to £125.
One shopper wrote: "Very nice watch, great size, and I love the colour of the face."
Its stainless steel strap and classic shape make this watch versatile enough for everyday wear, but the orange of the dial adds a fun pop of colour that makes it unusual enough to stand out.
There is also a turquoise version of the same watch, now 26% off at £185, and a stainless steel and gold tone model, which has been reduced from £265 to £185.
If you're after something a little more unique, then the Orb Heart watch might be a better choice, as it has a quirkier design that is unmistakably Westwood. This design is exclusive to Beaverbrooks and is available at 46% off, with the price reduced from £215 to £115.
The watch features a 36mm champagne dial, complemented by gold-tone hands and hour markers. Instead of a steel bracelet, this one has a leather strap, and the dial is decorated with a surrealist heart design as well as the brand's orb.
The brand's trademark also features as a charm that hangs delicately off the watch, making this perfect for fans of the brand. These extra details give the watch an elegant, feminine touch reminiscent of Vivienne Westwood's fashion philosophy.
One shopper called the watch "extremely elegant", while another said: "It feels good quality, comfortable to wear and looks great.
"Beautiful watch! Love its design and delicate details," wrote a third shopper.
Another, who got it as a Christmas present, said: "I'm usually a gold strap girl, but this watch has converted me. I absolutely love it."
Another, more classic-looking watch, the Lady Sydenham is inspired by vintage luxury sportswear, according to the brand. This design is currently 50% off, reducing the price from £300 to £150.
The design features a 39mm hot pink dial with jacquard-style etchings and gold-tone hour markers. It also has a gold-tone stainless steel strap and is adorned with the brand's trademark orb at the 12pm marker.
This is another design that can be considered a bit more versatile, but the pink dial gives it a bit of an edge. There is another option, with a champagne dial, which is not currently available for sale.
"Lovely watches," a shopper said, adding: "I have three of these in different colours, well worth the money."
