Bengaluru: Husband files complaint after wife sends him sex videos
Bengaluru: Cases of husbands allegedly abusing or harassing wives over sexual matters are commonly reported. However, in a rare incident, a wife reportedly sent sex videos to her husband and demanded that he engage in sexual activity with her in the same way, according to police sources.
Nagarbavi resident, a 37-year-old man, filed a complaint with Amruthahalli police against his wife Shilpa, her mother Asha Pokala, father Madhav Krishna Pokala, and relative Bhamaid Sai Krishna Pokala.
The couple, Shilpa and the complainant, were married several years ago and lived in Jakkur. According to the complaint, Shilpa’s mother, Asha, allegedly provoked Shilpa to create disputes with her husband. Shilpa, described as someone accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle, reportedly told her husband that he should not question her spending time with wealthy friends and drinking. In 2024, a formal family discussion regarding these issues took place.
Sending sex videos and harassment:
According to the husband’s complaint, Shilpa allegedly pressured him to be intimate not only with her but also with her female friend. When he refused, she allegedly started physically and mentally harassing him. She reportedly sent obscene videos and recordings to him with instructions to watch them when alone, and insisted he perform sexual acts at night as per her direction. She allegedly also tried to make him share “sweet memories” with her friend, which caused him significant distress.
After the marriage, she reportedly disclosed past relationships to the husband and claimed she maintained contacts with her old friends, according to the complaint.
Police complaint registered:
Unable to tolerate the harassment, the husband approached Amruthahalli police to file a complaint. He provided police with details of the obscene chats, videos, and the harassment he endured. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
Husband alleges wife refuses to return gold jewellery:
The husband claimed he had given his wife gold jewelry worth several lakhs based on trust. However, the wife allegedly refuses to return the ornaments and continues to harass him. Some of the jewelry reportedly belongs to the husband’s mother and other family members, according to the complaint.
