Bihar will scale new heights of development under CM Samrat: PM

Patna: PM Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh and BJP national president Nitin Nabin among other NDA leaders congratulated Samrat Chaudhary after he took oath of office as the chief minister of Bihar on Wednesday.

PM Modi expressed full confidence in his leadership and said Bihar would scale new heights of development under Samrat, assuring that the central govt would stand firmly with the state.

Extending his best wishes to Samrat, PM Modi posted: “His energy, dedication to public service, and grassroots experience are bound to prove immensely beneficial for the state. I have full confidence that, under his able leadership — and while fulfilling the aspirations of the masses — Bihar will scale new heights of all-round development. My sincere congratulations and best wishes also go to Shri Vijay Kumar Choudhary Ji and Shri Bijendra Prasad Yadav Ji on taking the oath as the deputy chief ministers of Bihar. I am fully confident that their grassroots experience and unwavering commitment to the public interest will provide a new direction and momentum to Bihar’s development. Furthermore, the state will set new benchmarks in good governance, transparency, and public welfare.”

Union home minister wished Samrat a successful tenure as the first chief minister from the BJP in Bihar. He further posted on X: “Heartiest congratulations to Samrat Choudhary on taking oath as the CM of Bihar. I wish you a successful tenure. I am confident that under your leadership, the spirit of resolve with which the NDA, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar, has been working day and night to serve the people of Bihar will gain even greater momentum. Furthermore, the NDA’s ‘double engine’ govt will work with renewed energy towards building a secure and developed Bihar.”

Defence minister also congratulated Samrat and both the deputy CMs. “This new NDA team in Bihar represents a perfect blend of energy and experience. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this govt will not only fulfil the aspirations of the people of Bihar but also take the state’s development to new heights. I wish this new team in Bihar an immensely successful tenure,” he posted.

BJP national president Nitin Nabin, who attended the swearing-in ceremony, congratulated Samrat. “It is my unwavering belief that, under the leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, you will work with complete dedication to realise the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat – Viksit Bihar’. I extend my warmest wishes for a glorious and successful tenure as the first BJP chief minister of Bihar,” Nitin posted.

Union minister and former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi said the kind of govt Nitish ran for 20 years, they believe that if there was any shortfall, Samrat would fulfil it and take Bihar forward.

LJP (RV) chief Chirag Paswan, who met Samrat in the morning, said the new CM is poised to lead Bihar toward its next phase of development. “Just as Nitish Kumar successfully steered Bihar out of the era of ‘Jungle Raj’ and brought it to its current state of stability, I am confident that, under Samrat Choudhary’s leadership, our govt will carry his legacy forward. We will deeply miss Nitish’s presence and his active engagement within the state,” he said.

NDA partner and HAM(S) president Santosh Kumar Suman said new benchmarks for good governance, inclusive development and public welfare will be established in Bihar under the able leadership of CM Samrat and bolstered by the rich experience, administrative acumen, and dedication to public service of both the deputy CMs.
