Body of young girl found in Vishwamitri

Vadodara: The body of a young girl was recovered from the Vishwamitri river near Bhimnath Bridge in Sayajigunj on Thursday evening. Locals spotted the body floating in the river and informed the police.

Firefighters reached the scene and retrieved the body from the crocodile-infested waters.

A police official said, "The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Once the report is received, we will be able to determine whether it was a case of suicide or murder."
