Bon Jovi's star reacts as daughter admits awkward 'mistake' she kept making
The daughter of a founding member of Bon Jovi made an embarrassing confession about her father on a podcast. Gabby Bryan, a well-known comedian and daughter of Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan, co-hosts the , where the pair discuss everything from life experiences and childhood memories to dating.
In the latest episode, Gabby made a rather awkward admission about her dad, after coming to the realisation that she may have been making his life considerably more complicated. She confessed that she had been using her famous father's phone number as an emergency contact everywhere she went.
She said: "I have been putting down your number as my emergency contact, you're my number one emergency contact. A then I sort of did realise that you were like... famous and then I realised that I have been giving out your number.
"I mean and it's not just doctors, it's like Botox, it's anytime I need an emergency contact I put your number down."
David assured Gabby that she was perfectly welcome to list him as an emergency contact, though the comedian admitted she was baffled that he hadn't been inundated with unexpected calls.
She said: "I'm shocked you're not getting like a middle-aged secretary at the dermatologist texting you. I really I always put you down as my emergency contact."
Her father responded: "You should yeah, I can I can handle it, I can handle it. Well so far no calls have happened. So I'm good."
She said: "Well, I guess no one realises I've been slamming out your number. They probably sell the materials, sell the data. It doesn't bother you?" And her dad replied "no".
Gabby then asked her father whether he would attend one of her appointments if called upon as an emergency contact.
She said: " Like if something does happen to me and you're my emergency contact, but you're like in St Bart's would you still come?"
David replied: "Depends how bad it is." Gabby replied saying "it's bad" and her dad assured her he would, of course, make the trip.
He continued: "If you have like a skin rash, we have a little cortisol. You'll be fine."
