Cab driver wanted in murder of partner's son nabbed from Beed
Pune: South Mahalunge police booked a woman and her partner for murdering her minor son, allegedly because he had become an obstacle in their relationship. The woman, a Beed native with three children from her estranged husband, had been living with the cab driver—also from her village—in a rented room in Kuruli for four months. Her son stayed with them.
Senior inspector Vijay Dhamal said the duo killed the boy brutally. After her arrest, the partner fled the state, moving through Tirupati and other locations. Police tracked him to Ambajogai in Beed, where he was nabbed. He was remanded to five days' police custody; further probe is underway.
