Claudia Winkleman's Channel 4 show returning but there's one major change
TV star Claudia Winkleman is set to return for a new series of The Piano, which will see a big change.
Three series of the Channel 4 programme have already aired, showcasing performers playing street pianos at railway stations across the UK, and the fourth instalment will see a show first.
This time, host Claudia - who is also preparing for her upcoming chat show - and judge Mika will be joined by a stellar roster of five musicians throughout the series.
Pianist Tiffany Poon will join the pair at Birmingham New Street Station, whilst TV personality Jools Holland is scheduled to assist with the search at London Bridge Station, bringing his extensive credentials as composer, pianist, bandleader, broadcaster and music industry stalwart.
Hiromi, the internationally acclaimed Japanese jazz composer and pianist celebrated for her virtuosic technique and fusion of musical styles, will collaborate with the duo at York Station, reports Wales Online.
Classical musician Alice Sara Ott teams up with former Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia and Mika at Manchester Piccadilly Station.
Lastly, jazz-pop vocalist, pianist, songwriter and radio presenter Jamie Cullum will participate at Glasgow Central Station.
Additionally, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, bandleader and composer Jon Batiste will return to the programme, helping to guide the talented pianists featured.
The Piano, which launched in 2023, typically features an end of series concert.
This year's performance will take place on June 9 at the Birmingham Symphony Hall. Tickets for the event will go on sale at 10am on March 6, with profits supporting the installation of brand new pianos in public locations. It's a busy time for The Traitors host Claudia, whose highly anticipated BBC chat show kicks off on March 13.
Each episode of the new programme will see the presenter welcome some of the biggest names from the world of entertainment. She will then interview them on the sofa before a studio audience.
