For coffee-lovers, the value of a decent cup of Joe in the mornings can't be overstated. While it can often feel like getting that perfect brew can be painstaking, a pod coffee machine takes all of the effort out of making delicious coffee at home.

Now, shoppers can get the Nespresso Pixie Coffee Pod Machine by Krups with 20% off at Amazon, where its price has been slashed from £149.99 down to £119.98. The machine makes it easy to brew a full range of espresso coffee, as there is a wide range of pods available for the perfect strength and flavour every time.

There are two size settings available - espresso and lungo - and the machine comes with seven capsules to give shoppers a taste. Plus, it looks sleek and stylish on the countertop, too, with its deep green metal casing and slim design.

If this coffee machine isn't calling out to shoppers, they could opt for one with even more bells and whistles, like the Philips EP5446/70 LatteGo Bean-to-CupCoffee Machine, now £380 down from £620 at Argos. This one can make espresso, cappuccino and latte macchiato at the touch of a button, has adjustable intensity, and can be cleaned in as little as 15 seconds.

Those who prefer a simple espresso could try the DELONGHI Stilosa EC260CR Coffee Machine, now £99 down from £126 at Currys. It's compatible with ground coffee, has a milk frother, and there's room for two cups, so users can make multiple coffees at once.

However, the Nespresso Pixie Coffee Pod Machine by Krups has plenty of fans at Amazon. One shopper said: "Fantastic little coffee pod machine. High quality and well-made. Makes super tasty coffee every time." Another added: "So happy with this. Coffee is amazing."

Another user mentioned its size and said: "Great little machine! It's super compact, so it doesn't take up much space on the counter. Heats up fast and is easy to use."

However, some users ran into some issues. One said: "The water reservoir is a sensible size and does not require daily refills. The used pod holder is also a practical size. The machine is easy to operate and works well but the lungo button overfills the cup."

Another said as part of a longer review: "Neat and compact, takes up only a little space. It is surprisingly noisy when it starts up but as it's all over in a minute, it doesn't bother me."
