ITV has unveiled a gripping new trailer for Corriedale, providing a glimpse into the catastrophic pile-up and hinting at potential characters in peril as the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale intersect.

The 30-second teaser was exclusively premiered on Monday (December 15) during The Big Quiz, ITV's annual festive TV special where cast members from Coronation Street and Emmerdale compete in a soap trivia showdown hosted by Stephen Mulhern.

Newly confirmed characters embroiled in the drama include Coronation Street's Kit Green, James Bailey, Asha Alahan, Carla Connor, and Shona Platt, while Emmerdale's Cain Dingle, Sarah Sugden, Charity Dingle, Jacob Gallagher, Robert Sugden, and Joe Tate join the previously announced David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Liam Cavanagh, Aaron Dingle, and Lisa Swain.

In the wake of the multi-vehicle collision, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) takes charge, while a frantic Carla Connor (Alison King) is seen attempting to soothe someone. Injured Shona and David Platt (Julia Goulding and Jack P Shepherd) receive roadside assistance from Emmerdale paramedic Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), while Coronation Street's trainee paramedic Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) teams up with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) to aid more victims.
