Buyers are often on the hunt for a vacuum cleaner that won't break the bank and can get the job done properly. Now, Amazon has both areas covered with the eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner up for grabs at £99.98, down from £168.99.

That's a 41% reduction on the full price in a limited time deal, with Amazon saying over 200 of the vacuums have been bought in the past month. As this is a robot vacuum, all the legwork is taken out of cleaning - with Amazon saying it 'doesn't miss a spot'. It has up to 4,000 Pa of suction in max mode, meaning it can get rid of everything including pet hair, crumbs and dust from floors.

Thanks to a 600ml dust bin, shoppers won't have to empty it too often. It makes as little as 55dB of noise while cleaning - comparable to a normal conversation sound - so nobody will be disturbed as this little gadget makes its way around homes.

The vacuum comes in at 32.5 x 32.5 x 8.1 cm, and is equipped with an active detangling roller brush that can remove hair automatically as it goes. Customers can actually connect the vacuum to their phone via Bluetooth and schedule specific cleaning times and spot clean via the eufy app. There are other options of eufy vacuums also available on Amazon for differing price points, so customers can pick the model that works for them.

For an alternative, Argos has the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Cordless Robot Vacuum Cleaner & Mop for £229.99. This one is suitable for a range of floors, including carpets and rugs, wool carpet, hard floors and laminate flooring, and can run for up to 85 mintues.

Currys also has the Beko RoboSmart Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £184 (reduced from £299). With smart navigation, it has a 0.8 litre capacity and a 130 minute run time.

The eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner has garnered over 27,000 reviews on Amazon. One five star review read: "I replaced my trusty previous eufy which I ran daily for 3 years and this C10 is even better. It does not leave a crumb and all 4 rooms downstairs are spotless in an hour."

Another said as part of their review: "I was really sceptical this would make a difference keeping the upstairs clean. However I am really pleased to say I have been proven wrong... I do think it's worth every penny and I would consider buying a second one for downstairs to avoid having to lift it up and down between floors." A third said: "Works great. Can take it upstairs and leave it off because it doesn't have a map on it it will just clean all available space. Multiple cleaning modes. Easy to set up and app is great."

A handful of others disagreed slightly, and one person said as part of their review: "All rooms have to be cleared of clutter for these vacs to roam freely. This may be an obvious point until you have to remember to do this each time in advance. Not a great prospect in young family homes." Another added: "Picks up really well but seems to have a mind of its own as to where it wants to go. Doesn't follow any sort of path."
