Ex-prince Andrew arrested LIVE: Police issue statement as ex-duke released from custody
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been pictured leaving a police station after his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The former prince and Duke of York was pictured slouched in the back of a vehicle on Thursday evening as he left Aylsham police station in Norfolk. Thames Valley Police confirmed that he's been "released under investigation" as their searches in Norfolk come to an end.
The force said: "Thames Valley Police is able to provide an update in relation to an investigation into the offence of misconduct in public office. On Thursday (19/2) we arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The arrested man has now been released under investigation. We can also confirm that our searches in Norfolk have now concluded."
