Exclusive Amazon Prime deal knocks 'powerful' cordless vacuum to almost half price

Amazon is offering a 'powerful' cordless vacuum cleaner at nearly half price exclusively to certain customers. The deal runs until 27 February and slashes almost £90 off the ElecKeys Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.

Originally priced at £199.99, it's now available for £111.98 - representing a total saving of £88.01. This offer is available to those holding an Amazon Prime membership, with non-members able to claim it by registering for a Prime 30-day free trial.

Without this, the ElecKeys vacuum costs £129.99. This particular model operates with a 600W brushless motor that Amazon claims delivers 50,000 Pa of suction power to remove even deeply ingrained dirt, dust and pet hair.

It's suitable for both hard floors and carpets and incorporates a V-shaped roller and comb teeth that stop hair from becoming entangled during use. According to the manufacturer, this model is 'perfect' for carpet cleaning and homes with pets.

The ElecKeys vacuum boasts a durable battery capable of running for up to 70 minutes on a single charge, depending on the cleaning setting. Additional noteworthy features include green LED headlights to highlight fine dust and debris and a 1.8L bin with a straightforward one-click emptying system, reports the Mirror.

It can also stand independently, making it simpler to pause and restart cleaning. With the ElecKeys cordless vacuum, buyers will also receive several accessories: a stretch hose for confined spaces, a pet hair brush, a handvac suitable for car interiors and an extension tube for reaching elevated areas.

This model offers a budget-friendly alternative to premium names such as Shark, which is currently hosting its own rival deal. The Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum with Auto Empty System has been reduced to £198 (was £349.99), and whilst pricier than Amazon's alternative, it features an innovative base capable of storing dirt and debris for up to 30 days.

Meanwhile, those favouring corded alternatives can purchase the Breeins Lightweight Upright Vacuum Cleaner for £69.72 (was £99) at Yimbly. Though this more economical choice provides 13kpa suction, it falls short of the ElecKeys' 50kpa performance.

The ElecKeys Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has achieved a 4.7-star rating from Amazon shoppers from more than 2,400 reviews. Of these, 86% of customers gave a perfect five stars.

One said: "I'm really impressed with this. The suction is excellent and easily picks up dust, pet hair and crumbs from carpets and hard floors. It feels well built and sturdy yet lightweight enough to move around the house without effort. Overall, this offers great value for money and performs just as well as more expensive brands."

Another said: "Absolutely brilliant, it's made life so much easier. It's powerful, handy, light and just incredible. I can get all the dog hairs up, it even [vacuums] my little rugs I have in the kitchen without sucking them up. Worth every single penny."

One customer left a four-star review, saying: "It's not as powerful as my Dyson, but it certainly is lighter and has some good improvements, such as the green light. For the price, it's a good product."

However, this glowing five-star review reads: "Having used this for a couple of months I wonder why I spent so much more in the past for a Dyson. It does a great job of lifting dirt and fur from three dogs, it's very quiet and easy to use. It has more than enough battery power to vacuum my whole house."
