Hearing on anticipatory bail plea in POCSO case against Mallikarjun Mutya adjourned to March 6

Yadgir: The hearing on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Mallikarjun Mutya in connection with a POCSO case has been adjourned to March 6 for further arguments, Public Prosecutor Gurulingappa Teli said.

The matter came up before the Yadgir District Principal Sessions Court. During the proceedings, objections were filed by the government counsel. Following this, the court posted the case for detailed arguments on March 6.

Meanwhile, the petition filed before the Kalaburagi bench of the Karnataka High Court seeking to quash the FIR in the case has been withdrawn by counsel representing Mallikarjun Mutya.

Further proceedings are awaited.
