Husband Flees After Killing Wife in Hyderabad: Police Hunt Underway

Hyderabad’s Borabanda locality was shaken on Monday night after a 32-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband during a domestic dispute. The incident sparked panic in the area, leaving neighbours frightened and authorities scrambling to find the suspect.

The victim has been identified as Saraswathi, while the accused has been named Anjaneyulu, her husband. Police sources revealed that the couple frequently argued, as Anjaneyulu suspected Saraswathi of being unfaithful. These suspicions reportedly escalated tensions at home, creating a volatile environment.

On Monday night, the argument reportedly took a tragic turn. According to police, the quarrel intensified, and Anjaneyulu allegedly picked up a grinding stone and attacked Saraswathi. The brutal assault caused fatal injuries, and she died on the spot.

Hearing the commotion, local residents immediately alerted the police. Officers rushed to the scene and found the woman lying critically injured. She was declared dead at the spot, and her body was taken to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

A murder case has been registered, and the police have launched a manhunt to trace and arrest Anjaneyulu. Authorities said he is currently absconding, and further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the tragic incident.
