Insane moment Ukraine drone chases Russian soldier before obliterating him
A video shows a Ukrainian drone chasing a Russian soldier on a motorcycle before shooting him down. The footage shared on X, captured by an overhead Ukrainian drone, shows a Russian assault team on motorcycles near Ukrainian lines in Lyman, a city in the Donetsk region that was briefly captured by Russia in 2022 before being retaken by Ukraine later that year.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian forces have increasingly integrated motorcycles and other light vehicles into their frontline assault and transport tactics, aiming to compensate for heavy losses of armoured vehicles.
Fighting across Donetsk has surged recently, especially after claims by Russian officials that they have captured Pokrovsk - a contested frontline city and key logistics hub.
According to the latest updates from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 231 combat clashes recorded on 27 November, with much of the fighting concentrated in the Pokrovsk, Lyman and nearby sectors. Lyman remains one of the most contested hotspots.
According to a recent frontline report, Ukrainian aircraft, drones and heavy artillery are repeatedly striking river crossings and Russian reserve forces before they can gather in large numbers.
These attacks are seriously disrupting Russian supply lines. Attempts to build bridges are being hit again and again, supply convoys are breaking up under fire, and armoured units are struggling to get the fuel, ammunition and support they need to advance towards Lyman, Euromaidan Press reported.
