International conference on HIV and AIDS research

Madurai: The 10th Annual International Conference of HIV and AIDS Research began at the Indian Medical Associations (IMA) conference hall, Madurai Medical College on Tuesday. The two-day conference is organised by the Antiviral Society (AVRS) in view of World AIDS Day, which was observed on Monday. More than 500 researchers, scientists, and students from countries like Malaysia and Dubai came together at the conference to share and combine their expertise on anti-HIV and antiviral drug discovery and development, as well as newer therapies to help contain antiviral diseases.
