JPSC adds allied subjects for JET
Ranchi: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has added 16 allied subjects in Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) examination for assistant professors and admission to Ph.D in view of the demand by aspirants and direction of human resource department.
The JPSC has also extended the last date of filing up application from November 17 to December 1 to allow more time to the aspirants.

The JPSC on Friday issued a notification stating that allied subjects have been included in six core subjects namely life science, history, labour and social welfare (LSW), home science, physical science (physics), geology, performing arts/drama//theatre and computer science and application (CSA).
The JPSC stated that biotechnology, microbiology in life science, bioinformatics and biotechnologies, bio-chemistry, bio- science have been incorporated in life science, archeology in history, rural development in LSW, clinical nutrition and dietetics and textile and fashion designing in home science, electronic science in physics, , geophysics in earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary science in geology, theatre arts in performing arts and computer application have been added in CSA.
The JPSC has stated that students who have filled up their forms can make changes in their applications through correctional window from December 3 to December 5.
A JPSC official on Saturday said, “Aspirants had approached the High Court for including several subjects. The HRD held a meeting recently and recommended addition of the allied subjects. With the new list almost all the demands of aspirants have been fulfilled.”
JPSC has extended the last date of filling forms for the third time to enable the aspirants secure all the required documents. The dates were extended from September 6 to October 30, which was further postponed to November 17 and now to December 1.
The JPSC has also extended the last date of filing up application from November 17 to December 1 to allow more time to the aspirants.
