Liquor smuggling at 'tea stall'

Bhopal : Two men were arrested for allegedly running an illegal liquor trade under the front of a tea stall in Ayodhya Nagar . Police on Tuesday said the accused were trying to make hefty profits by exploiting the transition in liquor contracts. The accused allegedly stocked liquor at very low prices from Raisen and Vidisha. They were then selling it in Bhopal at higher rates through home delivery using a scooter.

The total value of the seizures was Rs 1.75 lakh. tnn
