Loose Women star 'signs up for Celebs Go Dating'
A Loose Women star is reportedly set to join E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating in hopes of finding love again.
Coleen Nolan, 60, who is also known for her singing career with The Nolans, is said to be stepping back into the dating pool after calling it quits with long-term boyfriend Michael Jones.
Now Channel 4 bosses are reportedly lining up Coleen to be the 'cougar' in the new dating series next year and are reportedly lining up a few younger men for her.
A source revealed to The Sun: "Coleen was on the top of the casting bosses' lists but they never thought she'd agree to take part and they can't believe they've actually got her.
"She's never done a show like this before but she's always so open and honest on the Loose Women panel, and a little bit saucy, so bosses believe she's going to be television gold."
Coleen, who was previously married to Shane Ritchie and Ray Fensome, has been single since ending her three-year relationship with Michael. The pair met on the dating app Tinder in 2021 but decided to remain friends after calling it quits.
According to reports, Celebs Go Dating bosses have "already cast a couple of younger guys" for Coleen. The insider added: "They know that she's up for giving it a go and trusts the team to help her find Mr Right."
Coleen will be joining soap actress Stephanie Davis in the new line-up for Celebs Go Dating, with filming for the E4 show starting next month.
Express have contacted Coleen and Channel 4 represensatives for comment.
In March, just days before her 60th birthday, Coleen admitted to the Daily Mirror newspaper that she fears she may never fall in love again. She confessed: "(I'm) turning 60 as a single woman and, while that's right for me at this stage, I did have a moment this week of feeling a little sad that I might not get to love again.
"I love being in love and being loved, and I feel I still have a lot to give in that department."
She was resolute in her decision not to resort to dating apps again in her quest for love. She stated: "I won't be doing the dating app thing again - if I do meet someone it'll be through fate or friends, although I can't really imagine it, as the only guys I meet in my industry are either too young, married or gay."
