M4 traffic LIVE: Rush hour misery as 2 crashes spark closures and delays on major motorway

Drivers on the M4 have been warned to expect long delays as two separate incidents have prompted the closure of multiple lanes on Friday afternoon. Traffic is building up on the M4 westbound at junction 49/A48/A483 at Pont Abraham Roundabout following a collision, Traffic Wales said, which blocked lanes in the area.

Separately, emergency services are attending the scene of a crash on the M4 eastbound between junction J32 at Coryton and junction 30 at Cardiff Gate, WalesOnline reports. The incident has caused the closure of two lanes, Traffic Wales said.
