Maner teacher wins excellence award
Patna: Wilfred Henry , science teacher at PM Shri Senior Secondary School , Maner, was recently selected for the ‘ Teacher of the Month ’ award for November 2025 in Patna district for his outstanding performance in the field of education.
The award certificate was jointly issued by B Rajender, additional chief secretary of the education department, and Sajjan Rajasekar, director (secondary education). The district education officer, Patna, Saket Ranjan, invited Henry to his office and handed over the certificate a few days ago. Earlier, in September last year, Henry was selected for the ‘Rajkiya Shikshak Puraskar-2025’. He received the certificate for the state-level award from state education minister, Sunil Kumar, during a function.

“Apart from this, Henry has received numerous national and international recognitions, certificates, and awards for his innovative teaching techniques . He has been teaching for the past 20 years at the Maner-based school and has consistently worked for the upliftment of village students, especially girls,” an official said on Wednesday.
