Meghan Markle torn apart by Hollywood star with six-word Netflix snub
Meghan Markle found herself on the receiving end of some savage sofa commentary after her Netflix Christmas special was brutally mocked by Hollywood star Kieran Culkin during a celebrity-packed episode of Celebrity Gogglebox. The Succession actor appeared on Channel 4's Stand Up to Cancer special alongside his wife Jazz, with the pair left in hysterics as they watched a clip from Meghan's festive show. One scene in particular - where the Duchess spoke about the pressure of organising Christmas, juggling children and keeping everything magical - prompted a blistering reaction.
As Meghan discussed the stress of making the holidays special, Kieran cut in dryly: "Who has the time?" Jazz immediately fired back: "Meghan. Because she's only got two kids." The pair burst out laughing as Kieran piled on: "We're becoming snobby with three? Oh two is easy!" Jazz agreed, adding: "When we had two we would've been able to do this." Kieran leaned forward and whispered mockingly: "Pssst easy."
Not finished, Jazz joked: "All the time in the world. Try having three! Stupid!"
Kieran then delivered the final blow with a single word: "Lazy!" The couple were left howling with laughter as the clip rolled, with viewers at home quick to pick sides.
One fan gushed: "Too adorable. Kieran and Jazz with their inside jokes and making each other laugh is absolute couple goals."
Another wrote: "It's such parent humour." A third added: "They need their own reality show or podcast! I'm obsessed with them!!!!"
Others were less sure, with one viewer admitting: "I can't tell if this is mean or cute."
The Meghan moment came during an emotionally charged episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, which took a far more serious turn elsewhere.
Viewers were left in tears as stars reacted to a heartbreaking film aired as part of Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
Among those visibly emotional were David Tennant and his wife Georgia, as well as Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton, Kieran and Jazz, and The Traitors stars Nick Mohammed and Joe Marler.
The mood shifted dramatically as the group watched the tragic story of Becca, a young doctor who died from cancer aged just 30.
Cameras captured several celebrities wiping away tears as the story unfolded. One viewer wrote: "Too messed up for this, bawling my eyes out," while another said: "Life is so unfair sometimes... that was tough to watch."
A third added: "Oh to be married to David Tennant..." followed by crying emojis.
Joe Marler also provided lighter moments during the episode, joking about appearing with Nick Mohammed.
He said: "When they told me I'd be doing Celebrity Gogglebox with Nick for Stand Up To Cancer, I felt it would be a great opportunity to finally stare him in the eye and ask why he gleefully betrayed me on national television. But honestly, I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else."
