Morrisons shoppers with a More card urged to make check before Christmas
Morrisons shoppers with a More card are being urged to make an important check before Christmas or risk losing out on valuable points.
The supermarket chain reintroduced its loyalty scheme back in 2023 after a two-year break and through it, shoppers can earn More points each time they shop at Morrisons stores.
But Morrisons More points expire after 12 months and if you haven't used your More card in store or online for more than a year, all of your points will be removed from your account.
Points that have been exchanged for physical Fivers also expire after 12 months, while digital vouchers expire after just three months.
As such, Morrisons shoppers are being urged to check their More card points balance before Christmas and convert their points into Fivers to help save some pennies this festive season.
Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert (MSE) has warned that shoppers who are members of Morrisons' loyalty scheme could be due a share of almost £30 million in unclaimed loyalty points.
In the latest weekly money tips newsletter, MSE said: "If you use Morrisons' loyalty scheme, check if you're due a share of almost £30 million in unclaimed loyalty points.
"You can use the points you've accumulated to claim 'fivers' - vouchers that expire within 12 months if they're not redeemed. With Christmas fast approaching, now's a good time to check if you've got any."
You can check your points balance by logging into the Morrisons app or website, or by checking the bottom of your printed receipt.
If you have any points to convert, you can do this on the Morrisons More app by selecting the 'Fivers' tab, choosing the amount of points you want to redeem, and then clicking 'Convert More points to Fivers'.
Alternatively, More points will automatically convert to vouchers and print out at the till following a Morrisons shop.
