MP Pension Scheme Update: 33 Lakh Women Get Monthly Pension Amount Directly in Bank Accounts

The Madhya Pradesh government has once again delivered major financial relief to millions of women and vulnerable citizens through its social security initiatives. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav transferred ₹200.71 crore directly into the bank accounts of 33,45,231 beneficiaries under various pension schemes, bringing financial support and security to lakhs of families across the state.

With a single click, the pension amount was disbursed through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT), ensuring transparent and timely payments. The move has especially benefited women, senior citizens, widows, and differently-abled individuals.

CM Mohan Yadav Highlights Government’s Commitment

While addressing beneficiaries virtually, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that the government remains firmly committed to supporting poor, destitute, and vulnerable citizens. He emphasized that the pension is not merely financial aid but a symbol of trust and dignity.


According to the Chief Minister, the monthly ₹600 pension helps beneficiaries manage essential expenses while also promoting self-respect and economic security.

Stronger Social Security in FY 2026-27

To further strengthen welfare measures, the Madhya Pradesh government has allocated ₹2,857 crore for social security schemes in the 2026-27 budget.


This substantial budget provision reflects the state’s continued focus on ensuring timely support for eligible citizens without discrimination. Under the broader guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both state and central governments are working together to reinforce social welfare systems.

Positive Impact Across Madhya Pradesh

Officials confirmed that:
  • 62,594 beneficiaries received support under the CM’s Daughter’s Guardian Pension Scheme
  • 77,120 beneficiaries benefited under the Mentally Challenged and Multi-Disabled Scheme
  • 32,05,517 beneficiaries received pensions through the Comprehensive Social Security Pension Scheme

This large-scale financial assistance has significantly improved the lives of lakhs of people, particularly women, by offering them regular income support and greater economic confidence.
