'Next sacrifice will be of me and my children': Gagandeep Randhawa's family issues 24-hour ultimatum to govt to arrest Laljit Bhullar
PTC News Desk: The family of the deceased Punjab Warehousing Corporation district manager Gagandeep Randhawa has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the government to arrest former Punjab minister Laljit Singh Bhullar and others named in the case.
Addressing the media, Randhawa's widow and complainant Upendra Kaur said the family will be forced to stage a protest if the accused are not arrested in the designated time window. Even two days after the incident, the post mortem has not been conducted as the family has been pressing for its demand for the arrest of all the accused named in the FIR including Bhullar.
Randhawa's daughter has also questioned government's misconduct and delay in the arrest of Bhullar. She said that all the evidence is present in her father's phone including that of minister's office.
A purported CCTV footage of Randhawa's consuming poison has also surfaced.
Meanwhile a candle march will be held at Novelty Chowk, Amritsar on March 23 seeking justice for Gagandeep Singh Randhawa.
