No proposal to ban RSS, says Satish Jarkiholi
Bengaluru: Karnataka minister Satish Jarkiholi said that no one has banned the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and that it is not possible to ban the organisation. He added that discussing such a matter is unnecessary.
Speaking to media representatives, Jarkiholi referred to the recent remarks made by minister Priyank Kharge about restricting RSS activities. He clarified that there is a difference between banning an organisation and restricting its activities.
He further stated that neither the present government nor any other government has made any statement about banning the RSS, and therefore unnecessary discussions on the issue should be avoided.
On the issue of internal reservation, Jarkiholi said the matter has not been discussed fully, which has led to confusion. He added that the state government stands for everyone and will resolve the confusion soon. He also said that the government will look for a solution in the next cabinet meeting.
