Heavy Rain And Gusty Winds Hit Delhi NCR As Weather Turns Dramatic: A powerful pre-monsoon system swept across the Delhi NCR region on Wednesday evening, bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds and thunderstorms that disrupted normal life across the area. The sudden change in weather followed a day of rising temperatures, catching many residents off guard during peak hours.

The intense spell affected Delhi along with nearby cities such as Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Several parts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan also experienced the impact of the fast-moving weather system, making it a widespread regional event.

Yellow Alert Issued Across Multiple Regions

Authorities issued a yellow alert as the system approached, warning of moderate rainfall, lightning and gusty winds. Wind speeds were expected to reach between 30 to 40 kilometres per hour, raising concerns about potential disruptions.

The alert indicated that the system was moving rapidly towards the region, leaving little time for preparation. Residents were advised to remain cautious, especially during outdoor activities and travel.
