Royal Family: Expert casts doubt on Meghan's reunion with her dad 'too soon'
A source has discussed the likelihood of a reunion between the Duchess of Sussex and her dad Thomas Markle. Speaking of Meghan and her estranged dad, a source has cast doubt on the possibility of a reunion.
It has recently been reported that Meghan had been trying to reach out to her dad after he underwent emergency surgery after falling ill at his home in the Philippines. Mr Markle had to have his lower leg and foot amputated, with the 81-year-old said to have left intensive care but still remaining in hospital. According to sources cited by The Times, a reunion is "too soon to say".
Meghan, 44, has not been on speaking terms with her dad since 2018, the same year that she married Prince Harry in Windsor. As well as having not seen his youngest daughter in a number of years, Thomas has also never met Harry or his grandchildren, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
