Stray dog feeder assaulted by mob in Indore; FIR registered
INDORE: A volunteer feeding stray dogs in Dwarkapuri area was allegedly assaulted by more than half a dozen men after he tried to stop a person from beating a dog.
According to police, complainant Aman Tomar, who regularly feeds stray dogs in the locality, intervened after seeing a man thrashing a dog, leading to an argument. Soon after, several men allegedly gathered and attacked him.

Animal lovers claimed police initially registered only an NCR despite the assault. On Tuesday, members of People For Animals reached the police commissioner’s office and submitted CCTV footage.
Following senior officers’ directions, Dwarkapuri police registered an FIR against unidentified accused.
