Nagpur: Mihan, long positioned as Vidarbha's growth engine, is witnessing a fresh wave of investments, with companies across sunrise sectors setting up base and promising a strong employment push.

Firms in lithium-ion battery technology, aerospace components, and IT have acquired large land parcels, signalling renewed investor confidence in the multi-modal hub.

Among the key proposals, V5 Ideas Pvt Ltd has committed to a 13-acre project in Sector 11 to manufacture lithium-ion batteries. With the electric vehicle ecosystem expanding rapidly, the unit is expected to generate skilled jobs and strengthen Nagpur's footprint in advanced energy solutions.

Bhagyashri Home Appliances has proposed a 2.5-acre facility to manufacture aircraft spare parts, reinforcing the region's emerging aerospace cluster. Industry observers say such projects could position Mihan as a support base for aviation maintenance and manufacturing.

Ideal Mockups will set up a unit on one acre focused on consumer goods and automotive models, while Anitra Technology has acquired one acre for operations spanning manufacturing, IT, and trading.

Officials said the investment momentum reflects Mihan's shift from a logistics hub to a diversified industrial ecosystem. The projects are expected to create opportunities for local youth, particularly engineers and skilled workers, while accelerating regional industrial growth.
