Since The Repair Shop debuted in 2017, BBC audiences have witnessed countless treasures arrive at the workshop.

From cherished family keepsakes to beloved mementoes and emotionally significant pieces, the specialist team successfully restore damaged belongings to their original glory.

Throughout the programme's run, BBC audiences have witnessed profound emotional moments during the dramatic unveilings.

Last year, devoted followers of the popular series celebrated when The Repair Shop on the Road launched, featuring the specialists venturing beyond the workshop to discover locations throughout Britain.

Presenters including Will Kirk, Steve Fletcher and Dominic Chinea encountered individuals preserving historical artefacts and valuable items, whilst assisting in maintaining their pristine condition, reports Gloucestershire Live.

With series two having been recorded last year, one of the programme's stars revealed when audiences could expect its broadcast.

Posting on Instagram, Will uploaded several photographs from his time working on the BBC programme.

One image featured him in a wig with long hair, another showed some of the camera crew on-set, whilst another photo showcased the BBC star pretending to be on an old telephone.

He captioned the post: "From wig makers to code breakers, last year I had a blast filming the second series of The Repair Shop on the Road.

"A few episodes have aired in Scotland and are available to watch now on BBC iPlayer. The rest of the series will hopefully be coming to your screens soon."

The post prompted a flurry of responses, with numerous viewers delighted at the prospect of a further series.
