The UK supermarket loyalty card that offers discounts at 12 shops - full list
One loyalty card can bag shoppers discounts at a range of stores - even outside of the supermarket. The Nectar card is commonly associated with Sainsbury's customers, but you can redeem your points for discounts at a broader selection of places beyond just the popular supermarket.
Nectar card allows cardholders to spend points at a number of places, including on travel, shopping, holidays, petrol and even an entertainment services. There are 12 brands in total where you can redeem points - saving you some cash, or, there's three charities where you can donate the points to instead.
From Argos to Eurostar, the card provides various options for customers to use their discounts. If you wish to donate your points instead, you can give them to charities including Comic Relief, Royal British Legion and FareShare.
If you're looking for ways to collect points, there are even more options available, with a much larger list of places where you can collect points - and you probably shop at some of them already.
Among the places you can gain points are Argos, Asos, Berghaus, Currys, Disney Store UK, Domino's, Dunelm, eBay, Esso, Expedia, Groupon, Habitat, Holland & Barrett, Just Eat, H&M, Lookfantastic, Mamas & Papas, New Look, On The Beach, Sainsbury's, Trainline and more.
By making sure you scan your card at these places, you'll be able to build up your points faster, allowing you to gain more offers when it comes to redeeming them.
If you're worried about your Nectar points being stolen, you can now protect them using the "Spend Lock" feature, which prevents points from being redeemed until you choose to unlock them.
