What makes these achievements even more inspiring is the modest background from which these students have emerged. Anand, who scored 482 marks (96.4%), originally belongs to Susandi village in Rahui block. His father Ravikant Kumar Pandit works as a tiles mason while his mother Sarita Devi earns a livelihood through tailoring. Despite financial constraints, Anand remained focused on his studies and now aspires to become an engineer. He credited his success to his parents and teachers.

Similarly, Satya Raj, who secured the 10th rank with 481 marks, is the son of Dilip Kumar, a tailor who supports his household through the earnings from his sewing machine. Satya’s achievement triggered celebrations in his neighbourhood, where sweets were distributed among well-wishers. He credited his father and teacher for his success.

Keeping himself away from social media, Satya used digital tools only for academic purposes. He now dreams of becoming an IAS officer and serving the nation.
