Tired of House Hunting in Bengaluru? This Designer Used AI to Find a Home Faster

Finding a house in Bengaluru is rarely easy. Endless scrolling, constant calls with brokers, and multiple flat visits can quickly turn the process into a full-time job. For many, it becomes exhausting and time-consuming.

But one product designer found a smarter way to tackle the problem, and his approach is now gaining attention online.

Using AI to Do the Heavy Lifting

Sunal Sood shared how he used an AI tool called Comet to simplify his house hunt. Instead of doing everything manually, he built a system that could handle most of the repetitive work.

He wrote, “House hunting in Bangalore is a full-time job. So I hired an AI. My workflow and how it helped me, save it so you can try it out.”

How the AI Made a Difference

The setup was simple but effective. The AI continuously scanned multiple Facebook groups at once, looking for fresh rental listings. It focused only on “no brokerage” options and prioritised recent posts.

It also filtered out spam, fake listings, and irrelevant posts, saving him from wasting time on unreliable options.

Another useful feature was travel time calculation. The AI checked how long it would take to commute from each flat to places he visits regularly. This made it easier to shortlist homes that fit his daily routine.

All the information was organised in one place, including contact details, so he could quickly reach out without switching between platforms.

Fewer Visits, Faster Decision

With this system in place, the process became much more efficient. Instead of juggling around 20 leads, he narrowed it down to just four flat visits before finalising his home.
