Two arrested with 10g of brown sugar

Sambalpur: Two persons were arrested for possessing over 10 grams of brown sugar in Milpada area under Bareipali police station limits on Friday. The accused, Ritik Chhachan (23) of Sikrapali under Sasan police station and Gopal Bhorasagar (22) of Dhankauda under Sadar police station had come under police scanner for their suspicious movements.

Police on Thursday afternoon intercepted them at a Hanuman temple in Milpada and found 10.4 grams of brown sugar worth around Rs 1 lakh in their pocket. The accused duo confessed to having procured it from West Bengal and other areas.
