Two JJMP supporters arrested in Lohardaga
Gumla: Two men were arrested from a village in Lohardaga on Saturday for being supporters of Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP). Two pistols and a cache of bullets for Insas and .315 rifles were also recovered from them.
Lohardaga SP Sadique Anwar Rizvi said, "Those arrested have been identified as Nasim Ansari of Heswe-Bazaartoli village and Shyamlal Yadav of Heswe village, both under the limits of Senha police station of Lohardaga district."

"Both are supporters of JJMP who worked as its informers and kept its armaments secretly. Following a tip-off, a team of police led by DSP (headquarters) Sameer Kumar Tirkey conducted a raid and caught Ansari first, and on his confession, Yadav was apprehended," he said.
Based on their confession, two pistols of 7.65 mm, 82 (5.56 mm) cartridges of Insas rifle, and three cartridges of .315 rifle were seized. These arms and ammunition were owned by JJMP extremists. "Nabbed persons are JJMP supporters, not squad members, who supported the outlawed outfit by acting as its informers and in other ways also," Rizvi added.
