Urgent hunt for missing girls, 9 and 12, last seen in school uniform riding e-scooter
Police are appealing for help after two girls were reported missing. Jade, nine, and Shania, 12, were last seen riding an e-scooter together in Stoke-on-Trent at about 4pm on Friday (February 6).
Staffordshire Police described Jade as 3ft, slim and with light brown, shoulder length hair. She was wearing school uniform. Shania is about 4ft 5in with black hair and slim. She was also wearing school uniform under a peach hoodie.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We're concerned about the whereabouts of two girls from Stoke-on-Trent, and we need your help in trying to find them.
"Jade and Shania are believed to be missing together. Both girls were last seen riding an e-scooter in the Chell area."
Anyone with information on the girls' whereabout is urged to call 101, quoting incident 825 of 6 February, or use Live Chat on Staffordshire Police's website.
In a separate missing persons case, Northumbria Police appealed for information to help find a girl missing from Newcastle.
Nmah, 17, was last seen in the West Denton area at about 2pm on Friday, according to the force.
Police described Nmah as an Asian female, about 5ft tall, slim built with long, red hair usually worn in a ponytail. She also wears glasses.
She was last seen wearing a black Zavetti Canada coat and black trousers with a black rucksack.
Nmah often chooses to wear a hijab. Police believe she may have travelled to the Merseyside, Manchester or Stockport areas.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare."
