Watch: Reckless High-Speed Car Stunts Caught on Camera; Delhi Police Responds
A video showing men performing dangerous stunts in high-speed cars on Delhi roads has sparked fresh concerns over public safety and reckless driving . The clip, widely shared on social media, shows several cars racing and zigzagging through traffic while occupants stand out of sunroofs and shout as the vehicles speed along.
Reportedly filmed on the night of December 26, the video captures four to five cars moving at high speed from the ITO stretch towards Noida. The risky manoeuvres, including swerving across lanes, appeared to put other motorists and pedestrians in serious danger.
As the clip gained traction on X, users began tagging Delhi Police and demanding strict action against those involved. Responding to one such post, the police said, “Thank you, Area Traffic Inspector has already been informed.”
The video also triggered sharp reactions online. One user commented, “This is a everyday thing in Delhi, sorry to say but police and government are not just not in control.” Another urged authorities to act swiftly, writing, “Please take necessary action immediately.”
Police officials have said they are verifying the footage and working to identify the individuals and vehicles involved. Further action will be taken once the verification process is complete, authorities added.
