India Charged Up By Abhishek Sharma Before Super 8s As Ishan Kishan's Reaction Surfaces
Before India's first match in the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup, a pep talk by star batter Abhishek Sharma was noticed as he encouraged his teammates. But the one thing that caught everyone's attention was Ishan Kishan, who struggled to control his laughter during the team huddle.
On the eve of their Super 8 match against South Africa, Abhishek brought some energy to the camp at the Narendra Modi Stadium. During an intense training session, he motivated his teammates with a loud Punjabi battle cry.
As the players assembled in a tight huddle under the floodlights on Friday, a video posted by the BCCI showed Abhishek entering the middle. He delivered a short but passionate speech to motivate the players and concluded it with a loud “Jo Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akaal.”

For Abhishek, this passionate war cry was in stark contrast to his display in the current T20 World Cup. He has been bowled out for ducks against the USA, Pakistan, and the Netherlands, and also missed the game against Namibia due to illness, making his passionate display of leadership all the more remarkable.
Selected for his aggressive mindset at the top of the order, Abhishek is still trying to get his timing right and make a mark with the bat in this tournament.
However, there was no sign of that pressure being felt during the practice sessions. In the nets, he appeared to be focused and relaxed, spending a lot of time with head coach Gautam Gambhir as they worked on the minute details of his game.
