Match 43 of IPL 2026 will witness Rajasthan Royals crossing swords with Delhi Capitals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Delhi Capitals began their campaign positively, but have lost momentum in the middle of the tournament and head into this clash following a couple of stunning results. After being scored at 264 but still faltering against Punjab Kings, they put up an embarrassing score of 75 with all-round collapse to raise questions about their stability. Rajasthan Royals are high on confidence as they inflicted the first defeat upon table-toppers Punjab Kings and it will be an important encounter at this juncture.

 

With the inclusion of Mitchell Starc to their attack, Delhi Capitals will surely benefit with his pace and experience in the bowling department, but the main problems are elsewhere in the line-up where the opening combination still hasn't been finalized. This has led to different combinations being tried which is adding on to the concerns of the team, with young guns like Sahil Parakh and Abishek Porel yet to be sorted into their respective slots. Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, are blessed with batting depth and with players like Donovan Ferreira and Shubham Dubey coming to the party in important times it proves that their batting is not limited to the top-order.

 

One of the interesting duels will be between young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has proved himself against top bowlers this season and has shown tremendous character on the ground. Having faced Jasprit Bumrah and Josh Hazlewood so far, a duel with Mitchell Starc will be closely monitored by the cricket fraternity. With the Jaipur pitch expected to be a batting friendly one, with a little bit of help from pace at the start, any score around 180-190 can be competitive and it will also be interesting to see if the Delhi bowlers can respond well.
