The wait is soon coming to an end for the more than 1.85 million students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 examinations. Speaking to PTI a few days ago, Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj stated that the CBSE Class 12 results are likely to be released during the third week of May. Consequently, students who participated in this year's CBSE Class 12 examinations will soon be able to check their results—in addition to the official CBSE website—via DigiLocker and SMS.
The Class 12 results may be released at any time during the third week of May. Therefore, all students and parents are advised to keep their login credentials safe and secure.
**CBSE Class 12 Results 2026: Steps to Download Results via the UMANG App**
To check your results using the UMANG App, first open the application on your mobile phone.
Next, log in by entering your mobile number.
Now, search for "CBSE."
After clicking on the CBSE Class 12 Result link, enter your login details.
Once the login details are submitted, your result will appear on your screen.
**No Press Conference**
The Board will not hold a press conference before the release of the Class 12 examination results. The results will be published directly on the official website. Additionally, information regarding the overall pass percentage, as well as the separate pass percentages for male and female students, will be made available directly on the official website.
**Details to Verify on the Marksheet**
Once the Class 12 examination results are released, students must carefully verify the following details on their marksheet: their name, roll number, school number, total marks obtained in the examination, academic stream, and their parents' names.
