SSC CGL 2025 first round of allocation list released; check cut-offs and other details here
SSC CGL Final Result 2025 : The Staff Selection Commission (HQ) has declared the first round of tentative allocation (FRTA) for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2025. This follows the Tier-I result announcement on December 18, 2025, and the Tier-II examination conducted on January 18 and 19, 2026, in computer-based mode.
The FRTA process was conducted according to the notice dated March 3, 2026, which introduced a sliding mechanism for candidates who qualified in Tier-II. Only those candidates who submitted their option-cum-preferences online and cleared Section-I and Section-II of Paper-I in Tier-II were considered for further evaluation in Section-III (Computer Knowledge Test, CKT) and Section-IV (Data Entry Speed Test, DEST). Candidates failing to meet Section-I and Section-II cut-offs were ineligible for evaluation in Sections III and IV.

Sliding mechanism and next steps
The sliding mechanism was introduced to maximise vacancy utilisation, minimise unfilled posts, and offer merit-based reallocation. Candidates must select venue, date, and slot for sliding via the SSC website between April 8 and April 10, 2026.
The sliding process will occur at regional offices from April 13–22, 2026, for the Northern Region and April 13–18, 2026, for all other regions. Failure to attend in person will result in exclusion from final allocation.
Final answer keys have been released after reviewing representations, and detailed marks of selected and non-selected candidates will be uploaded on the SSC website in due course.
