UP Board 10th Result 2026: Ayodhya Girls Shine, Three Rank in Top 10
Students from Ayodhya have delivered an outstanding performance in this year’s UP Board High School examinations. Aradhya, a student at Canossa Convent Girls’ Inter College, secured the 9th rank statewide by scoring 578 out of 600 marks.
The results for the UP Board Class 10 examinations were declared on Thursday (April 23). In these results, girls from the ‘City of Ram’—Ayodhya—delivered a spectacular performance, making a distinct mark for themselves at the state level. Such is the magnitude of their success that three students successfully secured a place in the top 10 merit list, thereby bringing glory to their district.
How Did the Students Perform?
Students from Ayodhya have truly excelled in this year’s UP Board High School examinations. Aradhya Jaiswal, a student of Canossa Convent Girls’ Inter College, secured the 9th rank across the state by obtaining 578 out of 600 marks. Meanwhile, Ambika Kasoudhan of MS Naaz Inter College, Suchitaganj (Sohawal), secured the 10th rank statewide with a score of 577 marks. Additionally, Prachi Pandey of Canossa Inter College secured a spot in the top 10 by obtaining 96.17 percent marks. The students have attributed their success to their parents and teachers. A celebratory atmosphere prevails within the families and schools of these three students following this remarkable achievement. Teachers have described this success as the result of hard work, discipline, and consistent practice.
How Were the Results for the Class 12 Examinations?
This year, no student from the Ayodhya district managed to secure a place in the top 10 merit list for the Intermediate (Class 12) examinations. Nevertheless, these daughters of Ayodhya have conclusively proven that with hard work and dedication, any goal can be achieved.
Schools Also Express Enthusiasm
Sister Linda Thomas, Principal of Canossa Convent School, stated that this is a monumental achievement for their institution. “We had high expectations from these meritorious students, and they have successfully lived up to them,” she remarked. We placed a special focus on these areas, the result of which is evident today in our securing the 9th and 10th ranks within the state. The students worked extremely hard. Furthermore, we received continuous support and encouragement from the entire staff, the management, and officials associated with the Education Department.
How were the UP Board results?
This year, the pass percentage in the UP Board examination results showed a marked improvement. In Class 10, a total of 90.42% of students were successful, while 80.83% of examinees passed in Class 12. A look at the UP Board statistics reveals that 87.30% of male students passed in Class 10, whereas female students delivered a stellar performance, achieving a success rate of 93.76%. In Class 12, 75.04% of male students were successful, while 86.32% of female students passed the examination, thereby taking the lead.
