Students who have already applied for the Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic entrance examination have also been allowed to make corrections to their forms. They can edit their forms on May 9, 10, and 11, 2026.

**Who is Eligible for Polytechnic Admission?**
For the Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic entrance examination, a candidate must be at least 14 years of age as of July 1, 2026. Age will be calculated based on this specific date. In terms of educational qualifications, candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 in the relevant stream. Additionally, they must fulfill other prescribed eligibility criteria.

**JEECUP 2026 Exam Pattern**

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
There will be a total of 100 questions. Each question will carry 4 marks.
The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
There will be no negative marking, meaning, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
On the day of the examination, all candidates must reach the exam center 2 hours in advance to complete their biometric registration.

**What is the Application Fee?**

General, OBC, and EWS Categories: ₹300
SC and ST Categories: ₹200
Payment of the application fee is mandatory for candidates across all categories.

**How Many Seats Are Available?**

A total of 2,71,093 seats are available for Polytechnic courses across the state. So far, more than 3.5 lakh candidates have applied. The Council has appealed to all interested students to take advantage of the extended deadline and submit their applications as soon as possible.
