UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 Declared: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the final results of the UPSC Civil Services 2025 on Friday. Anuj Agnihotri secured the first position in this prestigious examination. Following Anuj, Rajeshwari Suve M, and Akansh Dhull secured the top three positions. 180 students have been selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

In addition to Anuj, Rajeshwari, and Akansh, those securing the top 10 positions in the Civil Services Examination include Raghav Jhunjhunwala, Ishaan Bhatnagar, Zeenia Arora, A.R. Raja Mohaddin, Pakshal Secretary, Aastha Jain, and Ujjwal Priyank.

After releasing the results, the Union Public Service Commission stated that a total of 958 candidates passed the examination and were recommended for appointment to various Central Civil Services.

The UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination annually in three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. After a year-long process, officers are selected for various services, including the IAS, IFS, and IPS. The Commission stated that the candidacy of 348 recommended candidates has been provisionally granted.

Candidates in the Top 20 in the Civil Services Examination

The preliminary examination was held on May 25th.
Last year, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination was held on May 25th. The main examination was conducted from August 22nd to August 31st, 2025. The final round of examination, the personality test or interview, concluded on February 27th, 2026.

After the main examination, 2,736 students were called for interviews. Interviews for this important UPSC examination began on January 5th and continued until February 27th. Marks will be uploaded on the UPSC website within 15 days of the results being released.

According to information released by the Union Public Service Commission, recruitment has been announced for 958 posts. Of those who pass, 180 successful candidates will join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 55 will join the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and 150 will join the Indian Police Service (IPS). Of the 180 IAS positions, 74 are reserved for the unreserved category, while 28 are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 13 for Scheduled Tribes, 47 for OBCs, and 18 for the EWS category.
