No Breakfast, No Snacking

In a recent interaction with a news agency, Akshaye Khanna opened up about his eating habits, and they are far from what you’d expect from a mainstream Bollywood star. He revealed that, “For as long as I can remember, even today, I never eat breakfast. I go straight to lunch and then dinner, and even between lunch and dinner I don’t eat anything at all, not even a sandwich or a biscuit."

One Daily Indulgence: Evening Tea

Despite his disciplined food habits, there’s one daily ritual he never skips. Khanna is very clear about his love for 'shaam ki chai.' He said, “In the evening, I just have a cup of tea; that’s it." A simple cup of tea in the evening is his only in-between treat, and that’s exactly how he likes it.

Simple, Balanced Meals

When it comes to meals, the actor keeps things balanced and refreshingly uncomplicated. “For lunch, I mostly eat dal and rice with one vegetable and one chicken or fish or some non-veg dish. At night I usually eat roti with one vegetable and one chicken dish, and that’s what I mostly eat," Khanna said.

Plenty of Sleep, Even on Shoot Days

What might surprise many is that this routine doesn’t change even during hectic shooting schedules. Akshaye Khanna also prioritises rest, sharing that, “I sleep about 10 hours a day." In an industry known for chaotic schedules, his commitment to rest and routine stands out.

‘Fa9la’ Craze Adds to the Buzz

Meanwhile, Khanna has also found himself trending for an unexpected reason. Bahrain-based singer-producer Flipperachi, aka Hussam Aseem, recently spoke about the massive response to Fa9la, which features Khanna dancing. He said, “To be honest, it’s crazy. My DMs are blowing up every single day. I cannot keep up with the people who are just tagging me for the song and enjoying and vibing with it. So it’s been a crazy, crazy time."

Inside Dhurandhar

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is the first part of a two-film series. Ranveer Singh plays Hamza, an Indian spy navigating Pakistan’s criminal underworld. The story weaves fiction with real events like the IC-814 hijacking and the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Starring Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and others, Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 800 crore in India and over Rs 1200 crore worldwide. The sequel is set to release in March, and expectations are sky-high.

From his understated lifestyle to a powerhouse performance, Akshaye Khanna proves that sometimes, simplicity is the real star.
