Bhumi Pednekar Redefines Haathphool Glam in Nikhil Thampi Creation
Bhumi Pednekar is redefining glamour in 2025, stepping out in a breathtaking ensemble from Nikhil Thampi’s latest NAIA couture collection. Styled by Nidhi Jeswani, Bhumi turned heads in a black haathphool-embroidered gloved blouse paired with a gracefully draped skirt. Sharing her love for the look, she wrote, “Black is my love language. Thank you @nikhilthampi for putting it all together for me, love wearing you always (sic).”
The outfit is a perfect fusion of artistry and architecture. Crafted from stretch net and heavy crepe, the gloved blouse hugs the body with fluid elegance, while sleeves and gloves shimmer with uncut Kundan stones arranged like traditional haathphool jewellery. The draped skirt complements the ensemble, creating a hypnotic play of sparkle and silhouette that feels both timeless and avant-garde.
Marking 15 years in fashion, Nikhil Thampi’s NAIA collection celebrates evolution over nostalgia, blending contemporary Indian couture with meticulous craftsmanship. On his bond with Bhumi, Thampi shares, “Bhumi and I began our journeys around the same time, two young dreamers trying to find our footing in an industry that demanded courage.”
Nikhil further added, “Over the years, what started as a simple acquaintance evolved into a deep, enduring friendship built on trust, shared growth, and countless conversations that shaped who we became. Today, it feels surreal to look back at how far we’ve both come. She is family — someone whose presence has been constant through the highs, the doubts, and every milestone in between."
Bhumi completed the look with a faux fur jacket by Dolly J and exquisite jewellery from Shri Paramani Jewels. Photographer Ishaan Dhawan captured the star in all her spellbinding glory, immortalizing a moment where couture, confidence, and charisma converged perfectly.
